Veneer Warranty Korea: What Happens If One Chips After You Fly Home

When people type “veneer warranty Korea” into a search bar, they are rarely asking about paperwork. They are asking something harder to say out loud: what if one chips or pops off after I’m home?
That fear is reasonable. So here is a straight answer: what the warranty covers, what to do in the first hour, and who handles each step.
A note from Dr. Kim
I know the scariest part of treatment abroad is often not the treatment day; it is the flight home and the months after it.
“A smile that still works twenty years from now.” That is the standard we hold Blanche no-prep veneers to, long after you leave Seoul.
Veneer warranty Korea: how each tier works
Every veneer we place comes with a warranty tied to its tier. Prices are per tooth, VAT excluded, and the same for every patient.
- BASIC — KRW 650,000, 1-year warranty. Dentist-led, made by a Blanche Lab ceramist with Swiss ceramic and CAD/CAM.
- PLATINUM — KRW 850,000, 5-year warranty. Chief dentist, senior ceramist, hand-layered Swiss ceramic.
- Signature PLATINUM — KRW 1,500,000, 10-year warranty. I lead the case myself, with a dedicated ceramist and hygienist.
During consultation, we go through exactly what your tier’s warranty covers, as many times as you need. However, a warranty is only half the answer. The other half is knowing what to do on the day something happens.
If a veneer comes off at home: the first hour

Most searches for veneer warranty Korea information stop at the number of years. Yet the first hour matters just as much. Think of a contact lens that pops out: you save it in its case, and you don’t glue it back with whatever is in the kitchen drawer.
1. Keep the veneer
Rinse it gently and store it in a small closed container. A loose tissue is risky, because tissues get thrown away.
2. Don’t glue it yourself
Household glue can set the veneer in the wrong position and trap bacteria. It also leaves residue that makes proper re-bonding harder.
3. Send photos on WhatsApp
Photograph your smile, the tooth up close, and the veneer itself. Then message us. From photos, we can usually tell whether the veneer looks intact.
4. See a local dentist if the tooth feels sensitive
If the tooth feels sharp or sensitive, a local dentist can temporarily protect it. You arrange that visit where you live. The permanent fix then happens with us in Seoul.
Who handles what: a simple table
Here is the whole routine in one place.
| Situation | What to do | Who handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Veneer comes off and looks intact | Keep it in a closed container; send photos on WhatsApp | You keep it; Blanche reviews photos and re-bonds in Seoul if possible |
| Veneer is chipped or cracked | Stop biting on that tooth; send photos | Blanche assesses, then laser removal and revision in Seoul |
| Tooth feels sharp or sensitive | Book a local dentist for temporary protection | A local dentist you arrange; permanent fix at Blanche |
| Not sure what your warranty covers | Ask on WhatsApp | Blanche explains your tier’s terms again |
Repair under your veneer warranty in Korea

If the veneer is not broken
Bring it with you. If it is intact, re-bonding may be possible with the Ivoclar adhesive system, which resists edge discoloration.
If it needs replacing
First, we remove what remains with a laser. There is no extra shaving and no separate removal fee. Revision is priced the same as new treatment, and it can be done in one day.
Within your warranty period, we follow your tier’s terms. Outside it, the same-price revision rule still applies. If a chip is your main worry, our guide to what can be repaired and what needs replacing goes deeper.
Why no-prep veneers make repair simpler
With Blanche no-prep veneers, the tooth underneath is your own, intact tooth.
So if a veneer comes off, you see your natural tooth, not a shaved, sensitive stump. Minimal-prep veneers stay under 0.1 mm, so the same largely holds.
That makes repair calmer, usually with no anesthesia. “Why damage a tooth worth more than you can price?” Blanche started from that question. For the longer view, see what removal really leaves behind.
Would my teeth be easy to repair if something went wrong?
Send us just two photos: one of your face straight on, and one smiling. We’ll tell you whether no-prep suits your teeth and which warranty tier fits the way you live.
Prevention: keeping your veneers safe after you fly home

Even so, a veneer that never chips beats any warranty. Three habits do most of the work.
Wear a night guard if you grind
Heavy grinding is treated before veneers. Afterwards, a night guard protects the porcelain while you sleep. Read more on planning veneers around grinding.
Don’t bite hard things with your front teeth
Ice, nutshells, bottle caps and fingernails are the usual culprits. Cut crusty bread and apples, or chew with your side teeth.
Keep up check-ups
Regular check-ups with your local dentist keep the gums around the edges healthy. Depending on care, veneers can last over 10 years, and even 20–30 years or more.
Planning a return visit
We are a 30-second walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 4 in Gangnam, about an hour from Incheon Airport. Send photos first, so you know what the visit involves before booking a flight. For the full one-day program — technology, pricing, and booking — see our One-Day Veneers page.
Frequently asked questions
Veneer warranty Korea: does it still apply after I fly home?
Yes. Your 1, 5 or 10-year warranty depends on your tier, not on where you live. Send photos on WhatsApp first; the repair itself is done at our clinic in Seoul.
Can a local dentist glue my veneer back on?
A local dentist can temporarily protect the tooth until you return. Please keep the veneer and bring it to us; if it is not broken, re-bonding may be possible.
Will a replacement veneer mean more shaving of my tooth?
No. We remove the old veneer with a laser, with no extra shaving and no separate removal fee. Revision is priced the same as new treatment, and it can be done in one day.
Side effects and individual differences
Temporary sensitivity, a foreign-body feeling, or mild gum swelling can occur. Results and longevity vary with each person’s teeth and habits.
I still teach dentists in Korea and abroad, and I give them the same advice I follow myself: design every smile as if you will be the one fixing it twenty years from now. A warranty matters. Even so, a tooth that was never damaged is the protection that travels home with you.
