In-House Dental Lab Veneers Korea: Who Actually Makes Your Veneers?

In-House Dental Lab Veneers Who Makes Your Veneers?

If you are searching in-house dental lab veneers Korea, the real question underneath is simple: who actually makes my veneers, and where?

It is a fair worry. You meet a dentist, but the veneers may be made by someone you never see, in a building you never visit. And on a short trip, there is little room for a shade that is slightly off.

So let me show you where ours are made, who makes them, and why that matters for shade and for one-day treatment.

A note from Dr. Kim

I want you to know the hands behind your veneers, not just the name on the door.

“Minimal intervention, maximum beauty.” Blanche no-prep veneers are thin, so every detail of the ceramic shows, and that is why we keep the lab close.

In-house dental lab veneers Korea: what the phrase actually means

A dental lab is where the ceramic is designed, shaped and finished. “In-house” simply means the lab is part of the clinic, rather than an outside lab that receives orders.

Both systems exist everywhere, and good work comes out of both. The real difference is how information travels between the dentist and the ceramist.

Think of a tailor. One sends your measurements to a workshop in another city. The other has the cutter in the back room, who can step out and see how the shoulder sits on you. Both can make a good suit, but only the second can look at you while working.

Meet Blanche Lab, our in-house lab

Digital design in the dental lab

Our lab is called Blanche Lab, and it is part of the clinic. Its ceramists trained in France and Switzerland.

We record your teeth with a 3D intraoral scanner. So the digital model reaches the lab without leaving the building, and the ceramist can walk over to look at your teeth.

Who works on your veneers at each tier

What changes between tiers is who is in charge, how the ceramic is made, and how long the warranty runs. Prices are per tooth, VAT excluded.

  • BASIC, KRW 650,000: dentist-led, with a Blanche Lab ceramist. Swiss ceramic made with CAD/CAM. 1-year warranty.
  • PLATINUM, KRW 850,000: the chief dentist with a senior ceramist. Swiss ceramic hand-layered and fired at about 800°C, with advanced shade layering. 5-year warranty.
  • Signature PLATINUM, KRW 1,500,000: I am in charge, with a dedicated ceramist and hygienist. Gum contouring and other supporting treatments are included, in a VIP room. 10-year warranty.

Shade: where an in-house lab earns its place

Ceramic veneer models

Shade is the hardest thing to judge from a photo. Screens, room lighting and camera settings all shift color.

When the dentist and the ceramist look at your teeth together, under the same light, they can agree on the shade before the ceramic is made. Then they check it again at try-in.

With hand-layered ceramic, the ceramist builds color in layers. Seeing your neighboring teeth helps them place translucency where it belongs, so the veneer does not look flat.

If you want to understand the codes themselves, our veneers shade guide explains what A1, B1 and BL mean. It is also a big part of why some veneers look natural and others do not.

Fit and edges

Fit matters as much as color. We bond each veneer with the Ivoclar adhesive system, which is among the highest-priced bonding systems. It is biocompatible and resists edge discoloration.

Bonding quality is one reason prices differ between clinics. However, it only works well when the veneer edge already fits closely, and that is lab work.

In-house dental lab veneers Korea and the one-day option

One-day veneers depend on the lab. Diagnosis, design, fabrication and adjustment are compressed into one day, with the dentist and in-house lab fully dedicated to you. That is why the one-day option adds KRW 200,000 per tooth.

On the day, plan for 4–5 hours, or 5–6 hours if many teeth are involved. You can go out while the lab works.

There is no case that cannot be done in one day. Complex cases simply get more design and adjustment time that day.

For the full one-day program — technology, pricing, and booking — see our One-Day Veneers page.

“Would my teeth suit no-prep, and which tier fits me?”

Send us just two photos: one of your face straight on, and one smiling. We will tell you whether no-prep is likely for you, and which tier fits the look you want.

Questions to ask any clinic about its lab

Choosing a natural veneer shade

Wherever you go, ask every clinic you are considering the same few questions:

  • Is the lab in the building, or outside?
  • Where did the ceramists train?
  • Will the ceramist see my teeth, or only a scan?
  • Is the ceramic milled by machine or layered by hand?
  • Which bonding system do you use?

Clear, specific answers are a good sign. That said, vague answers are worth a follow-up question.

Planning your visit

We recommend one follow-up check after the treatment day, so plan 2–3 days in Seoul. The clinic is a 30-second walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 4 in Gangnam, about an hour from Incheon Airport.

Korean and international patients pay the same, with no foreigner surcharge. If in-house dental lab veneers Korea brought you here, start with two photos, and decide at home.

Frequently asked questions

In-house dental lab veneers Korea: who actually makes my veneers?

At Blanche, ceramists at Blanche Lab, our in-house lab, make them. They trained in France and Switzerland and work alongside your dentist, using a 3D intraoral scan of your teeth.

Are the veneers made by machine or by hand?

It depends on the tier. BASIC uses Swiss ceramic made with CAD/CAM. PLATINUM uses Swiss ceramic hand-layered by a senior ceramist and fired at about 800°C.

Can the lab make my veneers in one day?

Yes. With the one-day option, treatment takes 4–5 hours on the day, or 5–6 hours for many teeth, and adds KRW 200,000 per tooth.

Side effects and individual differences

Temporary sensitivity, a foreign-body feeling, or mild gum swelling can occur. Results and longevity vary with each person’s teeth and habits.

When I teach dentists, I tell them a veneer is only as good as the conversation between dentist and ceramist. Keeping that conversation in one building is how we aim for a smile that still works twenty years from now.

How your first consultation works

1. We listen to your concerns and the smile you want.

2. Based on your exam, we explain every available option.

3. We give itemized costs and timelines. You are welcome to decide later, at home.

We repeat every explanation at least four times, and no decision depends on one person’s judgment alone.
