Veneers Trip Checklist Korea: What to Do Before, During and After

If you searched for a veneers trip checklist Korea, you are probably less worried about the teeth than about the trip.
What if you land and learn your gums need treatment first? What if the clinic is closed that week, or your flight home leaves too soon?
That is the real fear: forgetting one small thing and wasting a long, expensive journey.
So here is the checklist I would give a friend. It covers four stages: before you book, what to bring, the treatment day, and the days after.
A note from Dr. Kim
I would rather solve every surprise on WhatsApp than in my chair, with your flight home already booked.
“Minimal intervention, maximum beauty.” With Blanche no-prep veneers, that applies to your trip too: as few steps as possible, and none of them wasted.

Before you book: the steps that save a trip

Send two photos first
Send one photo of your face straight on and one smiling. From these, we can tell you whether no-prep is likely, or whether minimal prep under 0.1 mm may be needed. Both cost the same.
Our guide to the two photos to send before you book flights shows how to take them well.
Tell us your dental history
Mention old veneers, crowns, braces, bleeding gums, and whether you grind your teeth. Gum inflammation, cavities, or heavy grinding are treated first, so it helps to know before you fly.
If your teeth are significantly crowded, we may suggest orthodontics first, to preserve tooth structure. Our orthodontic specialist, Dr. Baek Ju-hee, has 22 years in orthodontics.
Check the calendar with us
The clinic is usually closed on Korean public holidays such as Seollal and Chuseok. So ask us in advance, before you fix your dates.
Our hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday 10:30–19:00, Tuesday and Wednesday 10:30–21:00, and Saturday 10:00–14:00. We also open on Sunday every other week.
Look at the price before you travel
Prices per tooth, VAT excluded, are KRW 650,000 for BASIC, KRW 850,000 for PLATINUM and KRW 1,500,000 for Signature PLATINUM. The one-day option adds KRW 200,000 per tooth.
Korean and international patients pay the same, with no foreigner surcharge.
Booking flights: how many days to plan
Plan 2–3 days in Seoul. That covers the treatment day and the one follow-up check we recommend afterwards.
With the one-day option, diagnosis, design, fabrication, and adjustment are compressed into a single day. It takes about 4–5 hours, or 5–6 hours if many teeth are involved.
For the full one-day program — technology, pricing, and booking — see our One-Day Veneers page.
The clinic is about an hour from Incheon Airport, and a 30-second walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 4 in Gangnam. If you want time for the city too, read how many days you need, and how to still enjoy Seoul.
Think of it like checking in for a flight online. Most of the work is done at home, so the airport part is short and calm.
What to bring to the clinic

This part of your veneers trip checklist Korea is short. However, each item can save time on the day.
- Any veneer that has come off. Keep it and bring it; if it is not broken, re-bonding may be possible.
- Recent dental X-rays or records, if you have them.
- A list of any medicines you take.
- A few photos of smiles you like, if you have a look in mind.
- Something to do while you wait, or plans for a walk while the lab works.
You do not need to prepare for numbing or temporary teeth. Usually there is no anesthesia and no temporaries, and we use anesthesia only if needed.
“Can you check my teeth before I book anything?”
Send us just two photos: one of your face straight on, and one smiling. We will tell you whether no-prep looks possible and how many days to plan in Seoul.
On the treatment day
First, we scan your teeth with a 3D intraoral scanner and go through the design with you.
Then our in-house lab, Blanche Lab, makes your veneers. Its ceramists trained in France and Switzerland. You are free to go out while they work.
Finally, we bond the veneers with the Ivoclar adhesive system and adjust them.
Not choosing the one-day option? Ask us for your timeline; we give itemized costs and timelines before you decide.
Veneers trip checklist Korea: after treatment and before you fly

Come back for the follow-up check before you leave Seoul.
Next, think about food on the rest of your trip. Our guide to eating Korean food with veneers covers kimchi, barbecue and coffee.
At home, keep your warranty in mind: 1 year for BASIC, 5 years for PLATINUM and 10 years for Signature PLATINUM. If a veneer ever comes off, keep it and bring it.
With proper care and regular check-ups, veneers can last over 10 years, and 20–30 years or more, depending on care.

Side effects and individual differences
Temporary sensitivity, a foreign-body feeling, or mild gum swelling can occur. Results and longevity vary with each person’s teeth and habits.
When I teach dentists, I remind them that a patient’s trip is part of the treatment. A calm, well-planned visit is how we reach “a smile that still works twenty years from now.”
How your first consultation works
1. We listen to your concerns and the smile you want.
2. Based on your exam, we explain every available option.
3. We give itemized costs and timelines. You are welcome to decide later, at home.
We repeat every explanation at least four times, and no decision depends on one person’s judgment alone.
