Teeth in a Day Korea: What Day One Really Means, and What Comes After

Teeth in a Day Korea Real or Marketing?

Teeth in a day Korea is a search that often comes from a hard place: failing teeth, or a denture you no longer trust. The promise sounds wonderful. You walk in with problem teeth and walk out able to eat.

But a phrase this appealing makes careful people suspicious. Is “teeth in a day” real, or is it just marketing?

At Blanche, full-arch patients can generally eat on the day of surgery. However, the final zirconia bridge comes later. This guide explains the day itself and the months after it.

A note from Dr. Kim

I understand how much it means to sit down to a meal without worrying about your teeth, so I want you to know exactly what happens on day one and what comes later.

“A smile that still works twenty years from now.”

Is teeth in a day Korea real or marketing?

It is real in one specific sense. In our clinic, full-arch patients can generally eat on the day of surgery.

What it does not mean is that treatment is finished in a day. The final prosthesis is a zirconia bridge, and it is fitted later. Overall, treatment is completed in 2–6 months.

Think of moving into a new home while finishing work is still underway. You can live there from day one, but the final fittings go in once everything has settled.

So whenever you see a teeth in a day Korea offer, ask one question: which teeth, and for how long? A clear clinic separates the day-one teeth from the final bridge.

Our All-on-4 Korea guide covers implant numbers and dentures. Here, we focus on the day itself and the months after.

What happens on the day of surgery

The plan for the day is made in advance from our 3D CT. It shows how many implants your jaw needs, usually 4–6 per jaw, and where each one goes.

If some teeth need extracting, extractions are billed separately and shown on your itemized estimate.

We use digital guided surgery, so the implants follow the plan made on your CT.

Sedation, if you are anxious

Sedation is available for anxious patients. It costs KRW 400,000 per session and is not included in the full-arch price. A dentist administers and monitors it.

Preparation includes 6 hours of fasting and an ECG check. A companion is recommended, and you rest in the surgery room before leaving. Our sedation guide explains the details.

In most cases, you leave able to eat. Start with soft foods, and follow the instructions you are given.

The months between day one and the final bridge

Over the following months, the implants bond with your bone. This is called osseointegration, and it takes time.

From abroad, treatment usually takes 4–6 visits over 2 trips. Between the trips, healing happens at home.

During this period, gentle chewing and careful cleaning matter. Very hard or sticky foods can stress healing implants, so avoid them until told otherwise.

Smoking, diabetes and gum disease can also affect healing. Tell us about them early, so the plan fits you.

Cost and planning your two trips

Full-arch treatment at Blanche costs KRW 10,000,000 per jaw. If you need both upper and lower, the total is KRW 20,000,000.

Two items are separate. Sedation is KRW 400,000 per session, and tooth extractions are billed separately. Anything else your CT shows you need is itemized before you agree. The pricing is the same for Korean and international patients.

Send your X-rays on WhatsApp first, for an opinion before you book flights. The final plan needs our own 3D CT in Seoul.

Blanche is a 30-second walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 4 in Gangnam, about an hour from Incheon Airport. Dr. Kim Tae-hyung and Dr. Kim Ha-young perform implant surgery, and both speak English.

Could teeth in a day work for my mouth?

Send us a recent X-ray if you have one, or just two photos: one of your face straight on, and one smiling. We will tell you whether full-arch treatment looks realistic for you and what our 3D CT would need to confirm.

Maintenance: check-ups every 3 months

Full-arch implant models

A fixed bridge is not something you fit and forget. Every 3 months, you have a check-up where the bridge is unscrewed and cleaned.

Food and plaque collect where you cannot see them. With the bridge off, the implants and gums underneath can be cleaned properly.

If a problem comes up after you return home, we help you get follow-up care in your own country. Our guide to making implants last 20 years covers daily habits in more detail.

Frequently asked questions

Is teeth in a day Korea treatment really done in one day?

Part of it is. In our clinic, full-arch patients can generally eat on the day of surgery. However, the final zirconia bridge is fitted later, and treatment is completed in 2–6 months.

How much does full-arch treatment cost, and what is extra?

KRW 10,000,000 per jaw, or KRW 20,000,000 for both jaws. Sedation, if you want it, is KRW 400,000 per session, and tooth extractions are billed separately.

How many trips will I need from abroad?

Usually 4–6 visits over 2 trips, with healing at home in between. Check-ups every 3 months follow, when the bridge is unscrewed and cleaned.

Side effects and individual differences

Swelling, bruising, mild pain, or temporary numbness can occur after implant surgery, and healing time varies. Results and longevity depend on each person’s bone, gums, health, and habits.

When I teach other dentists, I remind them that the surgery day is the beginning, not the result. If some of your own teeth can be kept, we will tell you before anything else. If full-arch treatment is right for you, my aim is a smile that still works twenty years from now.

How your first consultation works

1. We listen to your concerns and what you want to be able to eat and smile with again.

2. Based on your 3D CT and exam, we explain every available option, including whether a bone graft is really needed.

3. We give itemized costs and a visit schedule. You are welcome to decide later, at home.

We repeat every explanation at least four times, and no decision depends on one person’s judgment alone.
